Digital Content Designer
Summary
Location: Irvine, CA
We are looking for a motivated individual who loves the Stussy brand and has skills in web design, graphic design and site management.
The website content manager will be responsible for all content in our online presence including: web pages, blog posts, email newsletters and online campaigns.
In charge of management of online media the candidate will need to understand the Stussy voice and style. Most likely you will need to already be a fan of the brand or at least fashion to do this. You will need to be extremely passionate about web design and have the highest personal standards for the content you create.
The content manager will work closely with our photography, business planning, design, and marketing teams. Therefore good communication and the ability to manage tight deadlines is required.
The right individual will have experience designing effective user interfaces, along with a strong foundation in design principles, and a passion for great design, semantic markup, and web standards, operating within the context of the core elements of web design: interaction, usability, user experience, graphic design, HTML and CSS.
Responsibilities
- Create, design layouts and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with CMS and coding HTML, CSS)
- Coordinate web marketing calendar across departments and a team of content creators (photographers, designers, bloggers etc)
- Maintain a consistent “Stussy” look and highest standard of design quality throughout all web properties.
- Weekly creation of newsletter campaigns from conception to coding.
- Daily moderation of blog contributors
- Web page creation for new projects and online campaigns.
Required Skills
- Obsessive knowledge of good web design.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and the WordPress CMS
- Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator skills.
