On Saturday August 20th, some friends of Stüssy Toronto opened up a gallery and events space under the name ‘Forgetus Collective’. It was an amazing day of burritos, music, good friends and a lot of drinks. There were two short live performances by Mausoleum and Portraits along with great DJ sets from Scott Waring, Jeff Hayward, and DJ Paul Riser + Nudity (Luke Melchiorre and Jason Starzynski). This was the first of many amazing events to take place at Forgetus Collective.

This Friday, local Toronto artists Brad Tinmouth and Brian Rideout will be showcasing their amazing work in ‘Best of Show’:

As you can probably tell from the poster, this is going to be a really fun event with a lot of great art going for as cheap as they can justify parting with it. With fun music and cheap drinks, this will probably be the complete opposite of any stuffy art event you maybe have been to in the past. If you are in the area you should – it’s definitely something to check out.
